Terms of service
Effective 22 August 2026
These terms govern use of ScopeSignal. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use ScopeSignal for a business, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that business.
The service
ScopeSignal helps compare client requests with project scope, estimate added effort, and prepare change orders. Analyses, estimates, and drafted messages are decision-support tools. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs, setting prices, communicating with clients, and obtaining professional advice where needed.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use the service lawfully. You may not probe or disrupt the service, bypass plan limits, upload malicious content, misuse another person’s data, or use outputs to deceive or harm others.
Plans and billing
Free, Pro, and Studio entitlements are described at purchase. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Stripe processes payments and provides the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and access remains governed by the paid-through period and Stripe subscription state. Taxes and refunds are handled as disclosed during checkout and as required by law.
Your content
You retain ownership of your project and client content. You grant ScopeSignal the limited right to process it solely to provide, secure, and improve the service. You confirm that you have authority to upload and process that content.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it reliable but do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free AI output. To the extent permitted by law, ScopeSignal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or client disputes arising from reliance on estimates or drafted communications.
Termination and changes
You may stop using the service at any time. Access may be suspended for security risks, non-payment, or material breach. We may update these terms as the product or law changes; material revisions will be posted with a new effective date.
